National Association of Community and Restorative Justice Conference

Grace Lee Boggs famously asked “what time is it on the clock of the world?” Her question wasn’t about time in conventional ways, but instead a query into a time to transform, a time for revolution and evolution, and a time of both hope and danger. At the 10th NACRJ conference in New Orleans last week, UWOC and CCJR organizers attended and learned about ways to transform knowledge into power around community and restorative justice. Through facilitated discussions and panels as well as networking, organizers came home teeming with ideas and actions that you’ll see in the next couple of months. Check out the conference guide here and look for more work relevant to restorative justice from CCJR and UWOC.
