Little Free Pantries of Madison County *

The mission of little free pantries is to provide immediate aid to those in the community suffering from food insecurity; this aid is freely accessible and does not require people to complete paperwork, demonstrate need, or show up at set hours: this helps ensure no one falls through the cracks.

Ways To Get Involved!

  • Host a Pantry

We are currently looking to partner with churches, schools, and community organizations willing to host a pantry at their site. There is no cost or labor required on your part – our team handles setup, stocking, and maintenance. If you are not able to host we highly encourage agencies to "adopt a pantry" and help us restock with food and essential items.

To explore this opportunity, we’re inviting you to a brief Zoom call. Please click the below button to schedule a meeting to discuss setting up a pantry on your property.

  • Stock A Pantry.

These pantries need to be stocked and we are asking for your help. The bag of chips you don’t like or the travel size hotel toiletries you collect can be placed in the pantry. Check out the map and see if a pantry is on your way to work, so you can donate any food and hygiene items to a family or individual in need.

  • Build a Pantry

Help us build pantries! We will have building parties whenever we have an agency or organization that wants to host a free pantry on their property. Please use the below link and tell us that you would like to build a pantry on the form.

Make an impact today

Our vision is a community in which everyone has access to nutritious food and basic care items no matter the time or day. In addition to providing emergency aid, little free pantries serve as a cushion when long-term options such as food banks and food stamps are inaccessible or inadequate for meeting a person's needs. Free pantries are a tangible way that everyone can help support their community and neighbors; it also helps prevent food waste.

Support our vision by contributing a donation.
