Have you ever wished our elected officials could sit down and really hear what people in our community are going through?
Here’s our chance.
The Citizens Coalition for Justice Reform (CCJR) is bringing community members together on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, to speak directly to elected officials about Alabama’s justice system and the issues affecting our families.
We’re inviting people who have been impacted by incarceration, families with loved ones behind bars, and anyone who cares about what is happening in our communities. We want to hear your stories, your concerns, and your ideas for change.

This is our time to speak, and their time to listen.
We don’t need fancy speeches or perfect words. We need real people sharing real experiences. What have you seen? What needs to change? What do you want the people making decisions on our behalf to understand?
Our voices deserve a place in these conversations, and elected officials need to hear directly from the people they represent.

Come out, bring your voice, and stand with your community. You don’t have to speak to make a difference, but we hope you’ll join us and be part of the conversation.
Let’s show up, speak up, and make sure our voices are heard!
