The Movement for Black Lives TEN YEAR Commemoration

The fellowship, work sessions, and celebration at the M4BL 10-Year Commemoration in Cleveland, Ohio, powerfully reaffirmed that United Women of Color is aligned with the right work, on the right path, and in the right company.

United Women of Color is honored to contribute to the national working table (shown above), as part of the Movement for Black Lives.

UWOC’s Executive Director Angela Curry (from left), Grow With Google Program Coordinator (Humble), and Volunteer Coordinator were invited to The Movement for Black Lives 10-year Commemoration.

I truly enjoyed my first Movement for Black Lives celebration and convening. We had intense discussions regarding power building, the state of the union, and the strategy and tactics for the upcoming months. This experience gave me time to heal, regroup, and recharge my passion for this movement!
