"For our communities to grow and improve, we all need to be part of the solution by getting involved." - Volunteer Christine Thompson

My name is Christine Thompson. I am a licensed Cosmetologist and an Adjunct Instructor at Drake State. I teach several cosmetology classes, and I also own BeautyMark Salon & Spa Inc. in Huntsville with my daughter. I have been married for 24 years, have three children, and two grandchildren.

I have been involved in nonprofit work for 20-plus years. It is a passion of mine to give back and uplift the community and those less fortunate. I believe in the mission to address educational and civic gaps for advancement. For our communities to grow and improve, we all need to be part of the solution by getting involved.

I recently got involved with United Women of Color in October and volunteering with them is an incredible experience that I am happy to be part of & become more involved with.
