What you loved about the LIGHT Institute:

I loved that the LIGHT Institute held space for people to learn in many ways. It wasn’t just lectures; it was conversation and safety as well as fellowship.

What you gained from the LIGHT Institute:

I gained a lot of insight into who I am as well as how I work with others in the community from the LIGHT Institute. It’s easy to say we know ourselves and want / need community but it’s just as important to understand who you are so you can realize how you can contribute to your community.

What you want to apply from the LIGHT Institute:

I want to apply many things but most of all I want to canvas more. We did an activity where we canvassed at a church and I felt so connected to the people here. Even though we all felt a way about how things are going in this country it felt good to know there are people who still have hope and are willing to fight for everyone.
